About Me
Hi, I'm Sunny Romero, also known online as Star or Starshine. I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, and initially started as a completely self-taught artist until I was in high school and enrolled into a few art classes. Then I decided to major in art for college once I graduated.
Art has always been a huge part of my life and means a lot to me. I have used it for everything: idea making, story boarding, animating, and learning. I also really like the design aspect of art, such as flyers, prints, etc. Content creation is a part of this as well, as I love making entertaining videos in my free time when able to.
For my more serious works, I mostly try to convey a message, theme or story through my art, and I hope it reflects within my gallery. I strive to make people realize something in themselves they maybe didn't notice before. I hope you enjoy seeing my work!

2019-2023
Achieved two associate degrees when I attended Clovis Community College. I went to Clovis Community right out of high school and decided to major in Studio Arts and Art History, as I had been drawing my whole life mostly self-taught. I learned a lot about the basics of art here, and worked with many different mediums.
BA in 2D Animation
CSU Fresno
2023-2025
Achieved getting my BA in 2D Animation in Fall of 2025. Throughout the course of my studying, I was Webmaster, then Vice President, and then President of the Animation Club at CSU Fresno. Overall, I learned a lot about animation, working with others and how to use most of the Adobe Creative Suite.
